By downloading or using the Litara mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Litara. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
2. Use of the App
Litara grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, or distribute any content from the app without permission
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Circumvent any access restrictions or monetisation mechanisms
3. Content
Books available in Litara are sourced from Project Gutenberg and are in the public domain. Audio content is generated and owned by Litara. All app design, code, and original content are the intellectual property of Litara.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Litara offers optional premium subscriptions processed through Google Play Billing.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
- Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.
- Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
5. Advertisements
Free-tier users will see advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you consent to the display of these advertisements.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Litara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
